The Maserati Khamsin is a 2-seat sports car launched in 1974. It was launched at the 1973 Paris Motor Show. This car is powered by a front mounted 4.9 liter V-8 engine producing 320 HP. The Khamsin was offered with a 5-speed manual transmission or with a 3-speed automatic transmission. It is interesting to know that this model was named after the Khamsin, the hot, violence wind in the Egyptian desert. The production of the Maserati Khamsin was finally stopped in 1982, with only 430 cars produced, 155 of them were brought in the United States.
