One of the first vehicles by Acura, the Legend was a flagship car available in two body styles: a full-size four-door sedan and mid-size two-door coupe. The sedans under the Legend nameplate appeared on the North American market first and were equipped with a 2.5L V6 engine making 151 hp, while the coupe version was unveiled later and had a 2.7L V6 (161 hp) under the hood. The second-gen Legend received a more powerful 3.2L V6 developing 200 hp. It is curious that the Legend was the very first model by Acura that was equipped with a V6.
