The model is claimed to manage 51 MPGe in city driving, 43 MPGe hwy, and 47 MPGe in the combined cycle. The Hummer EV is quite a heavy rig weighing 9063 lbs.

Just like the original H1, the new Hummer has an independent suspension front and rear. Optional air springs can increase the truck’s height by 8 inches. The GMC Hummer Edition 1 is equipped with the Extreme Off-Road package that allows it to conquer rugged terrain, including 35-inch mud tires and protective armor that shields the underbody and the sides of the vehicle. Among other features that the debut-year model comes loaded with, there are the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system, a 12.3-inch instrument screen, a 13.4-inch infotainment system, and the company’s multi-functional MultiPro tailgate.

Many of the styling cues from the fuel-powered Hummer are applied to the new electric vehicle, including a wide-body appearance, a recognizable boxy design, and short overhangs. Up front, there are full-width LED headlights with vertical slots resembling the grille of a classic Hummer. Both SUV and truck versions have removable roof panels like those found on Jeep models and the revived Ford Bronco. The Edition 1 model is available exclusively in a two-tone black-and-gray color scheme with bronze accents inside and out.
