What’s more, there are three new exterior metallic colors that substituted three outgoing color options.

Mechanically, the 2018 Chevy Trax replicates the previous year model. Under the hood, there is a 1.4-liter 138-horsepower inline-four engine that is connected to a six-speed automatic. Power is fed to either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The 2018 Trax doesn’t differ much from its competitors in terms of acceleration - it provides average for the class zero to sixty figures. The all-wheel-drive model gets to 60 mph in 10.0 seconds, while the front-wheel-drive Trax makes this run in 8.9 seconds.
